Summary

  • INVEGA (paliperidone) Extended-Release Tablets use OROS® (osmotic controlled release system) technology. OROS technology employs osmosis to provide precise, controlled drug delivery for up to 24 hours.1
  • Due to the controlled drug delivery from the OROS technology, INVEGA tablets must be swallowed whole with the aid of liquids. Tablets should not be chewed, divided, or crushed.1
  • INVEGA should only be used in patients who are able to swallow the tablet whole.1
  • INVEGA is available in 1.5 mg, 3 mg, 6 mg, and 9 mg tablets. The 1.5 mg tablet is the recommended initial dose for patients with moderate to severe renal impairment.1
